note: bulbs ship starting in october based on availability and your zone, unlike other products. plant around or after your first frost but before the ground freezes. tecolote cafe is a tri-color ranunculus in shades of orange, rust, and gold with streaky petals that look like they were quickly brushed over by an artist. each corm produces 7-10 stems of gently scented flowers that average 18-24” tall. tecolote cafe is deer-resistant and makes an excellent cut flower. ranunculus do well in beds, borders, or pots.
tecolote cafe is sold in packs of 10.
planting instructions:
plant ranunculus in the fall for zones 8-11 for spring blooms. in zones 4-7, store the hardened corms in a cool, dark place and plant in early spring for mid-summer blooms.

soak corms in room temperature water for 3-4 hours; avoid oversoaking.

choose an area with full sun for planting.

add compost and a balanced fertilizer to your soil.

plant corms 9” apart, 2-3” deep, with tentacles facing down in the soil.

water after planting and continue weekly watering to ensure the corms do not dry out for the remainder of the growing season.
