alison bradley is a gorgeous, double-early tulip with deep wine-red, peony-style blooms that open around 4″ across and often appear in clusters of two per stem. it blooms in early to mid-spring on strong 14–16″ stems, bringing bold color to garden beds or fresh-cut bouquets. hardy in zones 3–8, it performs well in full sun or partial shade.

alison bradley is sold in packs of 10 for fall planting. 

fall planting instructions: 

1. choose an area with partial to full sun that has good drainage.

2. dig a hole 6-8” deep and mix granular fertilizer with soil at the bottom of the hole. tulip bulbs should be planted 6” below the soil.

3. place bulbs 2-3” apart with points facing upward, and then gently pack the soil over the bulb.

4. water once and then not again till spring.
