lemon chiffon> clearance

lemon chiffon is a modern, herbaceous peony introduced in 1981. it features the uncommon color of lemon-yellow with semi-double to double blooms that measure 5½–6″ across. it has a light fragrance and soft, rounded petals. flowers appear in early to mid-spring on sturdy 32″ stems, supported by dark green foliage. hardy in zones 3–8, lemon chiffon is a great choice for bright spring borders and cut flower arrangements.

lemon chiffon is sold as one root with 3-5 eyes.

fall planting instructions: 

1. choose an area with at least 6 hours of sunlight with soil that has good drainage.

2. dig a hole 12-18” deep. mix soil with an all-purpose fertilizer. add the amended and loosened soil back into the hole.

3. place peony roots 2-3” under the soil line with eyes facing upward, and then gently pack the soil over the roots.

4. water well.
